Our story: a journey of compassionate care
In 2017, Dr. Arlette Christine Parrado founded Behavioral Specialists of South Fl Corp, driven by a deep understanding of families navigating complex behavioral, emotional, and educational challenges. Recognizing the need for individualized, ethical, and culturally sensitive services, her vision was to integrate evidence-based ABA with mental health support, family systems care, and strong educational foundations. Our passion is fostering meaningful change, empowering children, and strengthening family connections, ensuring progress extends into lasting improvements in quality of life.

An integrative and individualized approach
At Behavioral Specialists of South Fl Corp, our unique strength lies in our holistic approach. With Dr. Parrado's background as a BCBA, LCSW, and EdD, we don't treat behavior, mental health, or learning in isolation. We address the whole child within the context of their family and environment. We integrate evidence-based ABA strategies, clinical social work insights into trauma and family dynamics, and educational foundations to create comprehensive, data-driven programs that are developmentally appropriate and sustainable. We believe families are partners in this journey, prioritizing caregiver education, emotional support, and culturally responsive collaboration for lasting change.

Transforming lives, building futures
Our services are designed to create meaningful, lasting change by empowering both the individual and the entire family system. Through Applied Behavior Analysis, we help individuals build essential functional and socially significant skills, fostering greater independence, safety, and overall quality of life. Our counseling and social work expertise support families emotionally, reducing stress and equipping caregivers with the tools and confidence to navigate challenges effectively. We aim for more than just therapy; we strive for resilience, self-advocacy, and healthy relationships, helping families move from surviving to thriving.
